Inspiração vem da onde a gente menos imagina. E essa semana o blog da Pink Paislee está com uma proposta bem legal.

As designer mostram imagens que as inspiram e criam uma página baseada nelas.

A minha inspiração veio de uma imagem quando eu procurava algo pra decoração da minha parede . 

Adorei a sobreposição das peças em madeira e logo as imaginei num layout.

Tentei recriar a ideia pro fundo  com retangulos de MDF cobertos com papel da coleção Cottage Farms da Pink Paislee.

Hi, everyone.

Have you noticed when you start scrapbooking, you see inspiration in everything? Nowadays, I go shopping and I look at the  advertising campaigns, the shop windows, and every little thing I see I imagine in a scrapbooking layout.:) The colors, the textures, the name of the stores and their different types, everything gets my brain thinking about something new to put together on my layouts.

There are so many things that inspire me, and sometimes all you need is to look around you to create something amazing! Of course, not everything you can use on a project, but it can be a great start to our creations.

I was looking some inspiration for decorating a wall in my new home, when I found the image below, and I thought I could use something like this in a page of mine.

The layers and the volume are so perfect!

I tried to recreate the idea of the clusters and layers using some MDF covered with papers from the Cottage Farms collection to make my background. Look how I overlaid them:

Then I applied some white rub-ons from the She Art line on the papers to give them an extra touch .

With lots of fussy cutting and little details from the Hope Chest papers, I created the mat for my photos.

I choose my title and added it to the page.

And here is my layout.

Tips to journaling on your scrapbooking layouts.

Hello Everyone!

I am  here to share ideas about how to use journaling on your pages. I must confess I don’t like to write on my layouts. But I do! After publishing my layouts I always write my story on my page in the back of my layout or I use cards to hide my journaling.

I think scrapbook pages must have journaling, because it is a very important piece to complete. But since I have to post my pages, I prefer not to have my life revealed publicly. So I have 2 tips for using journaling in your pages .

The first idea is to use journaling cards behind your photos. You can adhere a label onto a journaling card with a sentiment that fits to your story.  This card is from Hope Chest, and it´s so pretty . You can write a lot on it. 

And look how you can use the picture like a “pocket”  and have a label to pull your  journaling card whenever you want it.

The second idea is using a poem or part of a song you like and write that on your page. Use your calligraphy to embellish the page…Look how I wrote my journaling following the movement to the paper…

I mixed some SHE ART papers with some Spring Jubilee elements and Cottage Farms and Secret Crush…here you can see some details…

Hello, everyone.

Renata Moni here to show what I created for the “3 photos or more” week.

I always think the photo must be the main part of a layout (even when I use lots of embellishments ). So, to create my multi-photo layouts, I like to make the photos pop.

Tip: You can use  sequential shots to tell your story  when you have lots of photos.

A nice way to give a special highlight  for your photos is using a repetition.

Look how I used the same photo but  in different sizes. One of them is bigger and the other two are in the same size, but I overlayered them to give “movement” to my page.

And even using 3 photos I have negative space in my layout.:)

A closer look : a Luxe butterfly to add a romantic touch to the page.

Yes, I used a mask as embellishment!   The color is perfect for the Hope Chest line. I could not resist!

The title was made using Heidi Swapp Alphas and epoxy word.
