Teacher Gift Set

Hi everyone!

This week we are focusing  on projects that you can use to jump start your creativity for making handmade cards. With SMS, emails, private messages,  it is such a joy receive a handmade card, don´t you think?

Here in Brazil , October is the month of the Teachers. So, I created a gift set to my son´s teachers. This is an MDF trunk that you can easily find it  in craft stores. I decorated with Cottage Farms papers and made some layers using stamps from Spring Jubilee and rub-ons from  Cottage Farms and Luxe. Just added some fussy cut and paper flowers, and it´s ready to be used as a jewelry box.

Luxe chipboards hearts are the perfect accessories to the cards. They are so easy to match with all the color combos.

Using the Doodles Art  Stitches from the She Art collection, I created my own patterned  paper. Look how cool it is!

Some fussy cut and a chipbord sentiment to make someone  happier!

3 photos or more

Hello, everyone.

Renata Moni here to show what I created for the “3 photos or more” week.

I always think the photo must be the main part of a layout (even when I use lots of embellishments ). So, to create my multi-photo layouts, I like to make the photos pop.

Tip: You can use  sequential shots to tell your story  when you have lots of photos.

A nice way to give a special highlight  for your photos is using a repetition.

Look how I used the same photo but  in different sizes. One of them is bigger and the other two are in the same size, but I overlayered them to give “movement” to my page.

And even using 3 photos I have negative space in my layout.:)

A closer look : a Luxe butterfly to add a romantic touch to the page.

Yes, I used a mask as embellishment!   The color is perfect for the Hope Chest line. I could not resist!

The title was made using Heidi Swapp Alphas and epoxy word.
